Toyota is almost ready to make the latest version of the Yaris car official. The sedan and hatchback versions of the automobile, which were not sold in worldwide, would initially only be available in Thailand and other Asian markets.
The Yaris, whose design was partially revealed in the journal, will be officially unveiled on August 9th, according to a tweet from the automaker’s local Twitter account. Given that the latest generation of the hatch is still a closely-guarded secret, the release date has only been guaranteed for the sedan version.
The sedan sports a more contemporary appearance according to the teaser photographs for the 2017 Toyota Yaris. It will sport complete LED headlights that are slightly thinner and angled, a larger grille up front, and horizontal LED taillights on the back of the vehicle.
The engine appears to be the 1.2 combustion engine, which now produces 92 horsepower and 11.1 kgfm of torque, which was already accepted in Asia. However, updates and calibrations can lead to an improvement in these numbers in the final product.
For the time being, there will be no response to the question of when the new Yaris will arrive in rest of the world. Around here, the automobile already had a little facelift at the start of 2022, in addition to getting a 1.5 aspirated engine in place of the 1.3. The debut of the latest generation of the Japanese model has not been officially confirmed as a result.
