Google could soon add a new model to its lineup of smartphones. The rumoured Pixel Mini is being worked on and might be unveiled at some point.
A new Google smartphone with a smaller screen than the already-official Google Pixel 6A, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro has been revealed, according to the reputable tipster Digital Chat Station. He also insisted that the cell phone’s codename be “neila”.
A small-screen model was available from Apple for two generations with the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 13 Mini, but the company gave up on the notion this year and switched to the iPhone 14 Plus. The leaker also claims that the phone must have a front camera hole that is placed at the top of the screen, with a style influenced by both the Pixel 6 and the upcoming Pixel 7.
Unfortunately, Digital Chat Station was unable to provide any other details. However, several comments on the article raised the possibility that the Pixel “neila” may be the next Pixel 7a, while others suggested that it might be a fourth device in the Search Giant’s lineup.
The Pixel with a foldable screen would be the long-awaited fifth smartphone in addition to “neila.” It hasn’t publicly revealed its face yet despite being the topic of numerous rumours. It is expected to include five cameras, one of which is 50 MP. In any event, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are currently the center of attention because all the information about them will be made public on October 6.
