If you have an iPhone or MacBook, then you have apparently used FaceTime, Apple’s built-in video and voice-calling app. While FaceTime has always been helpful & useful for keeping in touch, it’s become even more valuable for staying connected with buddies and family while keeping social distancing standards. In this article, we’ll show how you can use FaceTime to make group calls on iPhone.
However, you can have up to 32 people on a FaceTime call, so it is a good video-chatting option if you do not want to download a different app to have a group video call — as long as you and your friends all have Apple devices. You can not install it on a Windows or Android device, and it is not available for all nations and carriers. Well, you can use it between different devices if one buddy is on MacBook and the rest of your buddies are using their iPhones.
Some other notes: To use FaceTime, you need to be working on iOS 12.1.4 or later on an iPhone 6S or more up-to-date model or an iPod touch (7th generation). If you are using an iPad, it should be iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad (5th generation), iPad mini 4, and up-to-date model of any of those devices, operating iPadOS.
All that being said, if you have not tried FaceTime, but want to use it, here are a few steps to get begun and join group FaceTime calls via iPhone or a Mac.
