With the release of the POCO M5 4G, POCO should shortly introduce more mid-range smartphones. The model’s technical specifications and a potential debut date were disclosed in a recent rumour.
Early information on the so-called POCO M5 4G was made available to the Indian web 91Mobiles. As implied by its name, they claim it won’t support the 5G network. The MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which will also be found in the upcoming Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G, is a chipset that can only enable a 4G connection in this way.
According to the website, the new intermediate might include a 6.58-inch screen with IPS LCD technology and Full HD + resolution, though it doesn’t mention whether it might also offer a higher refresh rate. In terms of more information, it is anticipated to have a variant with 6 GB of RAM and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner incorporated into the power button.
It’s also probable that it contains a battery with a 5,000 mAh capacity and 33 W charging support, like many other modern products from the manufacturer. It should support dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. Even though Android 13 was just recently made available to the general public, the POCO M5 4G should run Android 12 right out of the box.
